In times of uncertainty, we are reminded of the resilience and strength of the public health community. The recent rollbacks in Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI) initiatives and executive orders impacting public health efforts have created a sense of unease, leaving many questioning what the future holds for equity-driven work. We want to take a moment to acknowledge these concerns and stand in solidarity with those who continue to champion health equity, workforce diversity, and community-centered care.

At Umemba Health, our mission has always been rooted in ensuring that all communities—especially those historically underserved—receive the support, education, and resources they need to thrive. Despite the shifting landscape, our commitment to advancing equity in public health remains unwavering.

Now, more than ever, our work must continue. Public health cannot afford to be silent or stagnant in the face of policies that threaten access, representation, and opportunity. As a public health workforce development firm, we remain steadfast in providing:

✅ Culturally Responsive Training & Workforce Development

✅ Health Equity and Disparities Reduction Initiatives

✅ Community Engagement Strategies

✅ DEI-focused Consulting & Technical Assistance

We are here for you. If your organization is navigating how to sustain equity-driven work amid these changes, we are ready to support you. Whether you need strategic guidance, training, or a partner in advocacy, we are committed to ensuring that the communities we serve remain at the center of public health progress.

💡 Let’s keep the momentum going. Schedule a time to discuss how we can support your public health initiatives. https://lnkd.in/gxPNQD-h

Together, we will continue to train, develop, and retain a public health workforce that is diverse, inclusive, and committed to health equity—because that is what our communities deserve.

In solidarity,
